My name is Brandy Baskin and my son Dylan has Cutis Laxa. It is a very serious illness and he require constant care, so I have had to drop out of college and quit my job. Dylan’s heart failed May 23 and we were given no hope. My husband and I stayed by his side because we may have had no control over whether he lived or died, but we wanted him to know we were there no matter what. By the grace of God, my baby recovered and was coming home, but my husband had missed a month of work so things were rough. One week after coming home his company went out of business. We were about to loose everything. Then our PAL care worker told us about you. The money you gave us is the reason my family has a roof over their heads and it paid our electric, which had more than tripled because of all the different machines we need for our son.
